The famous Grand Staircase, spanned 6 decks and was capped by a beautiful oval dome. This was the mail stairwell for first class passengers.
The entrances were panelled in oak, same with the staircase with french ironwork and gilding.
Top of the staircase was a carved clock panel, with Greek mythology, honour and glory crowning time.
